Experience

Data gathering and analysis have to be approached methodically from the beginning of the project. First, we determined the core issue namely, how visual content affects user engagement. A thorough literature study was a necessary step in the process, as it assisted us in developing our goals and research questions.

Doing a thorough visual assessment was one of the project's most thrilling elements. Direct insights into the fundamentals of successful visual communication were obtained through an analysis of the different design components seen in current posters and commercials. In order to ensure that aspects like colour scheme, typography, and layout were carefully examined, we employed visual analytics techniques to rigorously classify the layout's components.

Observation

Throughout the study, a number of observations were particularly noteworthy. First off, there was a growing realisation of how crucial user-centric design is. Feedback from users revealed how even seemingly insignificant design components, such font and colour schemes, had a big impact on how they interacted with the material and perceived it. For example, a lot of consumers said they preferred designs with a lot of contrast and legible fonts because they were easier to use and more aesthetically pleasing.

Another important finding was the change in user preferences by demographics. Factors such as age, cultural background, and personal experiences strongly influenced how users chose certain designs. Older users liked simple traditional layouts, but younger users went for bright lively designs. This difference shows why it's key to think about who you're designing for. Older folks leaned towards simple traditional layouts, while younger people preferred bright lively designs. This range of tastes shows why it's so important to consider your target audience's traits when you're creating something.

Findings

This project's results gave us important lessons about good design rules. We found that simple and clear designs work best. People liked straightforward layouts and easy-to-understand information the most. They preferred visuals that guided them without being too much. Our study also showed that designs need to be flexible. We learned that making designs that can change for different groups of people works well. This makes users happier and gives them a more personal experience

. Another big lesson was about cultural fit. Designs that used symbols, colors, and patterns from people's cultures connected better with them. This made the designs more relatable and effective. , we saw how important it is to keep asking users what they think. By making changes based on what users said, we made the designs better over time. This also made users feel like they were part of making the final product, as their ideas were used.
